Cataclismo will not be Multiplayer.
This is supposed to be a solo adventure of you saving humanity. You could have thought there might be online multiplayer but for now at least it looks like they are focused on the campaign and tower defense modes.
The Cataclismo release date will be on July 16, 2024.
Luckily it seems as though this game will not be getting pushed back. Digital Sun, the developers, have been pretty on target with their release dates over their past few games. This includes great games such as Moonlighter and The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story.
As of now, it does not look as if Cataclismo will be on Xbox Game Pass.
There is a way that it could be in the future considering the game is made for PC players. It will only be released on Steam and PC to start. It would not be surprising to see it on other consoles such as Xbox or the Nintendo Switch in the future. But for now, it will not be available on Game Pass as a part of your subscription.
The Cataclismo Gameplay is certainly a fun and interesting one. The goal is to build your castle and then survive against waves of enemies. It makes it a tower defense game but also with many elements of Real-Time Strategy. There is also a story mode to this game that should take about 20-hours to beat which is a nice addition.
