In Alan Wake 2 gamers will not only be navigating Alan Wake through his nightmares but will also have control of another protagonist, Saga Anderson. With a new character added to the mix is there a chance that there will be Alan Wake 2 multiplayer at launch?
While it would be exciting to experience the paranormal with a friend and a new character opens up the possibility, Alan Wake 2 will not be multiplayer.
As mentioned previously, gamers will not only play Alan Wake in this new installment of the franchise but also will be in control of Saga Anderson, an FBI profiler. Anderson discovers pages of a horror story, a horror story that starts to come true. Alan is a lost writer trapped in a nightmare prison beyond our world. When the two of them connect their separate realities are connected in ways neither of them can understand. Now they must find a way to wake up from this never-ending horror show.
While it’s true that Alan Wake 2 is a sequel, gamers don’t have to play the first title. The sequel is set up so newcomers can enjoy without the need for past knowledge of the previous game. Returning fans though are given connecting lore and references.
