Passing placement can often be the difference between a pick and a touchdown in College Football 26, and learning how to throw a lob pass can often be the difference maker, especially on deep balls. So, here’s a quick guide on how to do it!
To throw a lob pass in College Football 26, you will need to press LB (on Xbox) as you go to release the ball to your target. So, if you are passing to the X receiver, you would press LB and X at the same time.
This will throw the ball high in the air with an arching pattern, which can be great for corner routes with lurking corners underneath, or for verticals to get over the top of chasing safeties.

Lob passes will also be impacted by your passing settings, which can be modified in the Settings tab. This mainly has to do with leading the ball and placement, but getting the right setting fit can make your lob passes even more deadly. So, play around and see what works best for you!
