Katsuki Bakugo at the launch of My Hero Ultra Rumble was flat-out busted and OP and we all know who to thank for that. The AP armor-piercing shot. With his newest nerf players may find Bakugo harder to use without being carried by aim assist and un-balanced damage numbers. It’s not as hard as some think and it won’t take too long but here’s how to play Katsuki Bakugo in My Hero Ultra Rumble.

Bakugo is a striker character meaning heavy damage is his forte. Being very aggressive is key to playing Bakugo after his recent nerf. With its crazy damage being reduced at all levels, picking off enemies effortlessly with an AP shot can’t be Bakugo’s only move anymore.
Instead utilize Bakugo’s Howitzer Strike and his explosive dash. While the dash can be used to evade enemies it can also be used to apply pressure. Once close enough make everyone pay with the Howitzer strike dealing up to at least 285 damage. The Y skill can also do area damage so getting the jump on a trio can pay off in the long run potentially breaking everyone’s shields. If things get too heated, space enemies out with AP shots and improvised grenades. The same can be said for finding retreating enemies making the attempt to med up. Once they’re found, dash in and hit them with a howitzer.

#1 Even after his Nerf, the man still stands at a solid A and maybe even S tier placement.
#2 Ap shots and Grenades can go through walls and other forms of covers so make it rain!
#3 If you play Bakugo first place is the only option. There are no exceptions.
