Leapers are one of the most disruptive and annoying enemies in Arc Raiders. Their fast, erratic movement and lunging melee attacks can overwhelm squads that aren’t prepared. Fortunately, Leapers have two major weaknesses: they’re extremely fragile, and they’re highly vulnerable to stagger effects. With the right item rotation, you can shut them down before they ever get close.
Here’s the best way to quickly and consistently kill Leapers in any encounter in Arc Raiders.
Just like with Rocketeers, Showstopper grenades are your best tool for controlling Leapers. Because Leapers rely on rapid dashes to close gaps, stunning them even once dramatically reduces their threat and makes them a breeze to take down.
When a Leaper jumps or prepares a charge, throw a Showstopper directly at the landing zone. The AoE stagger almost always interrupts their attack animation, leaving them wide open. Cycling Showstoppers within your squad can completely lock them down.

After staggering a Leaper, follow up with burst damage. Heavy-impact items work especially well, like the following:
Hullcracker — Perfect for instantly deleting a stunned Leaper.
Wolfpack — Great against clusters of Leapers during swarm events.
Standard Grenades — Reliable and easy to chain between teammates.
Leapers can die quickly from some basic follow-up after being stunned; just be prepared to dish out some damage when they’re stunned!

Stagger early, chain explosives, keep your distance, and you’ll clear Leapers before they ever disrupt the fight.
