How to Get into the Project Loki Playtest

Publish Date: June 29, 2023

Some of the developers from League of Legends, VALORANT, Overwatch, Apex Legends and Halo, along with some other games, have banded together to create TheoryCraft Games Studio. This Studio is now announcing its first game or at least the codename for it, Project Loki. They are specifically wanting player feedback for it so they announced a Playtest. Here is how players can get into the Project Loki Playtest.

Project Loki – Official Announcement

As seen in the video players look like they will drop onto a map similar to all of the battle royale games. But then the gameplay looks like League of Legends and according to TheoryCraft’s CEO, playtesters have also compared it to Super Smash Brothers.

If it can compare to even two of those games then this could be the next great live service game. But if it actually hits on all three, the could goes to will be.

It seems as though their current group of playtesters is likely pretty small but they are wanting to get even more people involved. With that, here is how players can get into the playtest.

Project Loki Playtest Signups

Currently, there is only one way to get in, to signup. Interested players can do this by going to the TheoryCraft Games website.

Here they will see, on the frontpage, a big green button telling people to signup. Once inside the interested player will give them their email along with their Steam ID which can be found in a player’s Steam profile.

After that, they just need to wait until they start inviting more players to join the playtest. There is no doubt that this game has a lot of big-time developers from massive studios. That means they know how to make interesting games. It seems like Project Loki, or whatever it ends up officially being called, will be worth at least taking a look at.
