How to favorite plays in College Football 26

Favoriting plays is one of the easiest ways to settle in and establish the types of things that work for you in College Football 26, basically allowing you to have a custom-tailored mini-playbook at all times. So, to help get you there, here’s how to favorite plays in CFB 26.

How to favorite plays in College Football 26: Guide

To add a play to your favorites in College Football 26, double-tap its icon while in a game on the play-select screen (basically while you are in the huddle). This will add a small star to the play, but more importantly, this will add the play to your favorites tab.

To access your favorites tab, you will use RB/LB (on Xbox) to navigate over to the Favorites tab, which is just to the right of Play Type. This tab will feature all plays you have favorited, regardless of which playbook you are using when you favorited them, so long as they are present in the playbook you are currently using.

This is especially helpful on defense, seeing as there is a ton of crossover between defensive playbooks in CFB 26.

Having a few go-to plays that you are comfortable with in a pinch, in my experience, feels like its own mini-playbook. This is a feature that I used a ton in ’25, and plan to utilize just as much in College Football 26!
