Out of seemingly nowhere, Starbreeze Studio revealed Payday 3 open beta, slated to be available from September 8 to September 11.
In recent news, Starbreeze Studio revealed that they’ll be running a Payday 3 open beta. For those unaware, the Payday 3 open beta is only available for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
The Payday 3 open beta is for players to “push their servers to the limit.”
According to IGN, here’s what the open beta offers:
“Since this is a technical test so if you do participate in the BETA, we’d appreciate it if you’d help us put pressure on our servers by logging on and matchmaking all at once on Sunday, September 10th at 01:00 CEST as well as 18:00 CEST (check the times for your timezone here) until something breaks.
This is the one time we ask you to help destroy our stuff, so please, take the opportunity!”
Considering it’s only available for around four days, make the most of the experience before the official release date on September 21.

Keep in mind, players must follow these steps during the open beta times. In other words, there is no pre-registration.

Here are the game studio’s official words:
“Just go to our store page, download the build and play.”
Make sure to follow the download and registration steps during the release times of the Payday 3 open beta, which is from September 8 at 7 am PST until September 11 at 1 am PST. Convert the time zones as needed.
The developers want to test the servers, and essentially see what will break them. The whole purpose of the open beta is to attempt and login during Sunday, September 10th at 01:00 CEST as well as 18:00 CEST.
