During Summer Game Fest 2025, we were shown a lot of new games, updates and so much more. One of the games that we were able to get a look at was Mortal Shell 2 and its release date. While it is not coming in 2025, there will be a way for you to play the game a bit early. Here is how to do the Mortal Shell 2 Beta Sign-Ups on Steam.

Below is a list you will need to follow to do the Mortal Shell 2 Beta Sign-Ups.

1. Go to Mortalshell.com
2. Enter in the age verification
3. Click on Beta Registration
4. Add in your email and your name

After this you need to just wait to see if you get added to the Beta.

According to the website, you can expect the Beta to be available in early 2026. This means that you may be waiting for the full released date until later in 2026.

About Mortal Shell 2

For those who did not play the first Mortal Shell, it was released back in 2021 and feature similar combat to this second one. They are both Soulslike games that are techinically action-RPGs.

In this one you will have new abilities, new enemies and new ways to take them down. Stroy-wise we do not know much but the description is, “Possess warrior Shells, dethron false gods, redemm a ravaged world”. You will be going around to take over new Shells to get all of those new abilities but in order to do so, you have to beat them in combar first. There is no doubt that fans of the series will be signing up quickly to test out the beta.
