Over a decade ago, the first iteration of the sports game debuted on the Nintendo Wii. Releasing this year, the brand new entry releases on the Nintendo Switch. With brand new games, online multiplayer, and even a ranking system, Nintendo Switch Sports is sure to shake up the gaming community when it officially drops. But this then begs the question, how much does Nintendo Switch Sports Cost?
At a price of $39.99 for the online version, Nintendo Switch Sports actually costs far less than the typical big name releases. For the physical version, it costs $49.99. The $10 USD price disparity is due to the inclusion of the Leg Strap accessory in the physical version.
Keep in mind, these price tags are in USD and don’t include tax. There’s no deluxe edition or preorder bonus for the online version of the game. So for those players hesitant on buying the game, with no bonuses for ordering earlier for the online version, just wait on the reviews. As for consumers who are super eager, the game is a bit cheaper than big name releases.
It’s hard to tell if Nintendo Switch Sports will ever go on sale. Even the initial price release standing at $39.99 is a tad unusual for Nintendo. Waiting on a purchase is always a safe move, but it’s difficult to predict whether or not Nintendo Switch Sports will be included in periodical sales or not.
Nintendo Switch Sports grand return brings online multiplayer as well. The game supports bringing a friend online, so two players in a room together can take on remote enemies. In addition, the games included in Nintendo Switch Sports are Bowling, Volleyball, Football (Soccer for Americans), Tennis, Badminton, and last but not least Chambara. This makes for a much larger variety of games than the previous Wii Sports. And since online multiplayer seems to support quite an ample amount of versatility, players should be able to compete with their friends who are displaced all across the world.
