The Mario Kart World cost is something that has been hotly debated since being announced but it will be $79.99 USD to start.
You can get the bundle with the Nintendo Switch 2 and that will essentially make it a $50 game. That is because the Switch 2 is priced at $449.99 and the bundle is $499.99. So if you are planning on getting Mario Kart World and you have to get the Switch 2 anyways, you might as well just get the bundle.
The Mario Kart World Release Date will be with the Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, 2025.
This is the release game for the Nintendo Switch 2. There are a few other big games but in terms of what is coming basically with the Switch 2, Mario Kart World is the main Nintendo-branded game.
Donkey Kong Bananza and the new Kirby Airriders are also going to arrive soon after the launch of the new system but in general it feels like a lighter lineup for the much-anticipated console sequel. It will be interesting to see if that affects sales at all or if Mario Kart, one of the best-selling series of all time, will be more than enough for players at the beginning.
