Hogwarts Legacy PS4 Release Delayed

The newer generation of consoles has already received their invitations to embark on a magical journey to Hogwarts. Sadly for PlayStation 4 users their invitation was lost in the mail as the Hogwarts Legacy PS4 Release is delayed.

Delayed Invitation

For PS4 and other past-gen console users, the Hogwarts Legacy release date was originally set for April 4, 2023. Now the release date has been pushed back to May 5, 2023, to “deliver the best possible experience”. Nintendo Switch users will still have to wait until July 25, 2023.

Everything To Know

As the game gets closer to its launch there’s no doubt that players must have different questions and thoughts about how Hogwarts Legacy will play. Here is everything confirmed to be included and left out of the title.

1. While keeping the concept of sorcery and witchcraft, Hogwarts Legacy will not have special ties to the Harry Potter storylines. It’s an open-world, action RPG set in the 1800s wizarding world.
2. Players can manually choose their Hogwarts House.
3. Link a Harry Potter Fan Club account and earn a free Beaked Skull Mask and exclusive House Fan-Atic Robes in-game.
4. Characters’ appearances can be fully customized along with their fighting style.
5. There is no morality system. (Example: Mass Effect’s Renegade vs Paragon)
6. Although broom travel is available, there will be no opportunity to play quidditch.
7. Magical mounts can be ridden.
8. Players can attend Charms, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Herbology, and Potion classes.
9. Spells can be mixed and matched to find a suitable combat style.
10. No Microtransactions
11. An Open World experience beyond Hogwarts.
12. Relationships with other students can be established.
