The Grand Theft Auto 6 Trailer is one that fans have been waiting on for nearly a decade. GTA 5 was released back in 2013 and was a great game on its own. Then the devs leaned into the online aspect of the game and gained even more of a following that has lasted the entire decade since its release. Even though the trailer was not supposed to come out until December 5 at 9 am EST, it looks as if someone has leaked it. Here is a look at the leaks of the GTA 6 Trailer.

Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 1
The GTA 6 Trailer Leaks were expected. There were already some leaks that came out about a day before the trailer. Fans were given a glimpse courtesy of a son of someone who works at Rockstar. Looks like when they say “my dad works at Rockstar” they were not kidding.
Before diving into this, understand that this is not official and still could be fake. That being said, this would be quite the fake to make in one day if the rumored time is 1 minute and 31 seconds for the trailer and it hits so many other parts that had been rumored.

By the looks of this trailer, we are making our way back to Vice City, or the city that was based on Miami, Florida. This shouldn’t be a major surprise considering that is what has been rumored for a while now and the palm trees in the teaser may have given it away.
Along with this, it does look like there will be a female protagonist. Or maybe less of a protagonist and more of a main character. This is a major shift for Rockstar and a welcome one. It will be interesting to see if they follow the other GTA games with multiple characters for the player to play. If so, who could they be?
Regardless, this game will surely be a major talking point for quite some time. The 2025 release date feels far off and it probably is. GTA 5 came out in September but GTA 4 came out in April. So it is likely at least a year and a half away from release but more likely a full two years. Considering how big this game likely is, that is not a major surprise with how much will need to go into it.
