The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI is a month away, and Rockstar Games, as usual, has released the long-awaited launch trailer as we near the release window. Gamers get one last look at Vice City, plus a glimpse of the criminal conspiracy surrounding the game’s duo protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. In case anyone has missed the cinematic presentation, here is the full GTA 6 launch trailer breakdown.
Trailer Description: Jason and Lucia always knew they were dealt a bad hand in life. But when a simple scam goes wrong, they find themselves on the dark side of the sunniest place in all of America. Caught in the middle of a criminal conspiracy that spans the state of Leonidas, they’re forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to survive.
The trailer shows cinematic cuts of Vice City and a closer look at Jason’s military past, which ended badly, leaving him working at Brian Heder’s marina in the Leonida Keys. While his partner in crime Lucia’s criminal history remains unknown, she does contact Jason while incarcerated. Of course, she’s seen outside of prison; whether she served her time or escaped, we won’t know until November 19. Various moments captured via the PlayStation 5 are showcased, including different vehicle stunts, Leonida’s world and environments, and even a hot and steamy moment regarding our ride or die duo. The trailer also debuts the track Flower in a Hurricane, featuring contributions from Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard.
