Final Fantasy VII, the most iconic game of the franchise, was originally released in 1997. Square Enix, the developers of the original game, put together a remake called “Final Fantasy VII Remake” in April 2020. However, since the game was a remake, it has its twist on the story. Final Fantasy Remake ended on a cliffhanger leaving longtime fans wondering why the story was not completely concluded.
Four years after the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake, it is time to continue in the story with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which is set to release on Feb. 29, 2024. There is so much lore to Final Fantasy VII it can get a little confusing, but now players will have to do their best to understand and uncover the story of Cloud, Sephiroth, and other main cast characters and battle their way after their world-shattering battle against Sephiroth in Final Fantasy Remake.
