To celebrate Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout going free to play and its release to Xbox and Switch there will be a crossover event with Halo. This crossover event will be dubbed The Spartan Showdown. Players will be able to complete challenges for different kinds of Halo-themed cosmetics.
This announcement was made as part of the Xbox Games Showcase Extended event. Microsoft and developer Mediatonic announced the collaboration stating all Fall guys players would be able to see Halo characters come to Fall Guys as cosmetic skins.
The Spartan Showdown event will be a Duos-based competition with up to 22-30 players per match. Players earn 1 Crown for every win. There can be up to 6 different competitions in the Spartan Showdown. The races can be Tip Toe, Gate Crash, and Dizzy Heights. The survival-based competitions can be Big Shots and Thin Ice. The Finale will always be Blast Ball.

The Spartan Showdown event is set to begin on June 30 and will be running until July 4. It’s not for certain that these limited cosmetics would ever make a return in the Fall Guys item shop so it would be best for players to take advantage of these 5 days while they have them.
Currently, there are four main cosmetic rewards revealed for the Halo crossover event. Those cosmetics are the Master Chief skin, Arbiter skin, Grunt skin, and the Spartan Cat Helmet. It was not mentioned if players have to pay either in-game currency or actual money to obtain these items. It is rumored that the event will also contain different challenges for players to complete in order to obtain free items given away for the event.
