Xbox is starting off the year with a new Direct that should give us some very needed information. After going dark on some bigger projects, fans have been waiting for news on big games like Fable and Beast of Reincarnation. See Everything that has been Revealed at the Xbox Developer Direct January 2026.
*Note- This will be updated as new games, game updates and more are announced during the live Xbox Developer Direct January 2026.
The Xbox Developer Direct January 2026 is a big one. A lot has been happening over at Microsoft with Xbox so there are plenty of things to be revealed. All games from today are going to be available on Xbox Game Pass on Launch Day.

This Direct has been something that fans of Xbox have been wanting for some time now as there are major games that need updates.
Fable
Of every game that Xbox has lined up, a new Fable game is certainly number one on most players’ lists. The first game was iconic, and while the second and third games were still very good, there was just something about the first one that hit the mark. It was like watching Shrek for the first time, but as an even more mature video game.
We expect during this Direct to get the release date for this game, expected in 2026, more gameplay and much more about the story itself.
Forza Horizon 6
The only things we know about this game are that it is based in Japan and will launch sometime this year.
Beyond that, we expect this game to get some serious time during the Direct as more information is desperately needed.
Beast of Reincarnation
The last game we know a little about is Game Freak’s Beast of Reincarnation.
That is correct, the makers of Pokemon are broadening their horizons. This RPG is set in a post-apocalyptic Japan and will feature soulslike combat. There is a Steam Page for it, but little else is known at the moment.
