There was a lot of rumors and speculation but the fabled mid-summer Nintendo Direct is real. This one will be a bit different with it being a Partner Showcase but we expect some big games to get some major updates. The July 2025 Nintendo Direct is a Partner Showcase, meaning we likely will not see anything that is only Nintendo. This still leaves some major Nintendo games as possibilities but for the most part, this will be Third-Party games. Below is an updating list of everything that is shown.
This was a great way to lead things off. This new Monster Hunter game will release in 2026.
This new entry in the series is coming out for the first Nintendo Switch on October 24, 2025.
With 40 new tracks the main dance game out there is back once again and coming out on the Nintendo Switch on October 14, 2025.
Over 180 fighters are ready to battle it out in this Dragon Ball Z game on November 14, 2025.
Plants vs Zombies is back with a new HD mode on both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 23, 2025.
FC 2026 is finding its way to both Nintendo Switch consoles on September 26, 2025.
Pac-Man is back with a new HD remake on September 26, 2025 for both systems.
This fan-favorite is back and ready to play on both systems on Septmeber 30, 2025.
Many have been waiting but Persona 3 Reload has found its way to the Nintendo Systems and releases on October 23, 2025.

There are a few big games that could be coming next. Expect some franchises like Fire Emblem to come back. Along with that, some new big titles that Nintendo and their partners have been working on.
The big next steps are due to the Nintendo Switch 2 already being released. For many, the issue has been finding one and after that, figuring out what to play. So far Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza have been the only major games to release for the new console. That will change, especially with the holiday season coming up.
