ln 2022, Elden Ring’s initial release date, the game sold over 17.5 million copies in the first few months. This has caused it to be up for multiple Game of the Year awards and the critics as well as the fans have praised how great the game is. Elden Ring has taken the world by storm and this is not only due to the difficulty and unique aspect of how the game is played but also the fighting. It feels like every swing of a sword or magic ability matters when fighting against the insanely hard bosses.

This combat system and the feeling of mastering a character has made players crave more. That is why the Colosseum free update will likely be very popular. Players will now have the opportunity to face off against each other in PvP combat with nothing between them, or around them.

The Colosseum update being free makes it feel as though the major DLC or next game that fans have been hoping for might be a ways off. While this will upset some, many will want them to get it right and have a similar magical experience as the first game.

Elden ring’s Colosseum DLC will be arriving just a day after its announcement on December 7, 2022.
