What is the Avalanche Key Passive Diablo 4?

After over a decade, the Diablo series is finally making its return with Diablo 4. Fans of the series have been waiting for quite some time and many have undoubtedly bought the game early. This RPG should be one that is up for Game of the Year honors. With that, there will be questions as to how to find or do certain things with the launch of the game. Many fans will be wondering what is the Avalanche Key Passive in Diablo 4?

There is a lot to decide when playing Diablo 4. After choosing a class and much more, players will also have to choose different skills and passives on their Skill Tree. The game will help out with this somewhat, but players will largely be left on their own to decide what they want to do.

When looking at the Avalanche Key Passive, players will need to be a Sorcerer or Sorceress to be able to use this. It is a Key Passive in Diablo four. The description is listed below.

“Avalanche grants frost Skills to have up to 10% chance for next Ice Shards, Frozen Orb, or Blizzard cast to consume no Mana and deal 40% more damage. Chance doubled vs Vulnerable enemies.”

Essentially this is for those who choose to go down the ice path of being a Sorceress in Diablo 4. Avalanche is part of the last cluster of skills on the skill tree for the class. Key Passives are abilities that a character can only have one at a time. They are very strong but unable to be upgraded. Also, they are important to the end build of a character.
