Diablo 4 Season 1, better known as the “Season of the Malignant”, will be available for players on July 20th, 2023, at 1 PM ET. Along with this new Season is the Diablo Season 1 battle pass which offers a wide variety of rewards for players to earn, but what exactly are these rewards?
The amount of Diablo Season 1 battle pass rewards that you’ll receive as you progress through the pass all depends on whether you purchase the Premium Track. While every single item included in the battle pass hasn’t been fully revealed, the following is known so far.
The Diablo Season 1 battle pass contains a single reward track that grants players both free and premium rewards meaning if you purchase the premium track, you’ll receive two items instead of one. Each Season will have different limited-time items and will never be the same as before. The battle pass will last for 3 months and should take players around 75 hours to finish the entire pass.
As the new Season starts, your character has to follow suit. In order to earn Diablo 4 Season 1 battle pass rewards, players will need to make a new seasonal character as their character in the Eternal realm cannot progress in seasonal content. According to Diablo’s General Manager at Blizzard, Rod Fergusson on Twitter, playing the campaign with your seasonal character will also progress the battle pass and Season 1 journey.
Similar to other titles that also feature a battle pass system, the Diablo 4 Season 1 battle pass has three different methods for players to progress throughout the pass.
