Along with Malignant Hearts, Malignant Ichor is a new resource that has been added to the Diablo 4 Season 1 update. Players can use Ichor to craft Malignant Hearts to grow their builds and gain more power. So how exactly do you get Malignant Ichor?
Players can commonly find Malignant Ichor in Diablo 4 through combat. Primarily, Malignant Tunnels are the best locations to locate Ichor. Certain Malignant enemies will drop a corresponding Ichor color when defeated and can be used to create a Malignant Heart. Salvaging Malignant Hearts gives Ichor of its type, with the exception of Wrathful Malignant Hearts, which gives Ichor of every type.
In order to find these powerful hearts, there are two methods. The first method is for players to kill certain Malignant Monsters that drop their respective hearts. Going into the Malignant Tunnel dungeons is a surefire way to do this. The second is to craft the hearts at Cormond’s Wagon. Players can use old unwanted hearts by salvaging them and using the materials to craft them along with Malignant Ichor.
There are a total of four different Diablo 4 Malignant Heart types that players can receive. Each one has different effects that they can give players. Each class has four unique hearts and 12 which can be useful for all classes. A total of 32 hearts.
