After over a decade, the Diablo series is finally making its return with Diablo 4. Fans of the series have been waiting for quite some time and many have undoubtedly bought the game early. This RPG should be one that is up for Game of the Year honors. With that, there will be questions as to how to find or do certain things with the launch of the game. Many games today have big wide-open maps. While this allows for a lot of great exploration, battles and beautiful scenery, it is also quite a timesink. Even with mounts, getting around the map in a lot of these games can take a lot longer than most players are willing to take. This has created the need for players to be able to get to places instantly. This was added to Diablo 4 and is the Waypoint System.
What is great about this system is the fact that a portal is left open next to whatever Waypoint the player goes to. This portal takes the player back to wherever they were when they teleported to the Waypoint. That means that if someone is grinding out in the field and needs to go sell or salvage, they can head to a town and then right back out. It is a really nice addition to the game.
