Diablo 4 Sorcerer Class Revealed

After a small break, Diablo 4 announcements have started up once again. This comes a few weeks after the two very popular Closed Beta Weekends. While not everything was polished, it is clear that the new title will be one that people are very ready to tryout. With that, a new class was just revealed. Here is a look at the Diablo 4 Sorcerer Class.

This will be a brand new class when looking at Diablo 4 compared to Diablo 3. The closest class to the Sorcerer would probably be the Wizard. People even compared it to the old Sorcerer and Sorceress classes from Diablo 2. That means it would be safe to say that this is more of a returning class to the popular action RPG series.

As would be expected, this class will be one that uses magic to deal damage. In the initial reveal trailer, The Sorcerer is shown using ice, fire, a meteor, an electrical dash along with a bouncing electrical attack, more ice and even a flaming snake. It is clear that AOE damage will be its specialty.

As it says, the magic will be mostly elemental which means that wind and even the earth or ground in some way could be part of the many abilities the class will have.

Also what is important is that it discusses control. Like many good mage classes in video games, exerting a zone of control is one of the best ways to utilize the character’s skills.

There is no doubt that this will be a popular class for many players when the game releases on June 6. Expect there to be more announcements including a few more previously unannounced classes coming over the next few weeks leading up to the release.
