If you are looking to improve on Warden in Deadlock, look no further! Here are three tips that should help level up your Warden gameplay in Deadlock in no time.
Deadlock’s laning phase is arguably its most important element, as the winner generally comes out on top. So for a hero like Warden who can struggle in lane, it can be tough to know how to navigate him, especially for newer players.

We suggest thinking of yourself as a support hero in the laning phase, using your trap ability and flask to slow enemies down and set up a teammate to hopefully finish them off. With a harder-to-hit projectile gun and no massive DPS Spirit abilities in the early game, we think a supportive, more passive role, can suit Warden nicely.
With any Warden build, you are going to need to get around quickly. We suggest prioritizing items like Majestic Leap, Enduring Speed, and Fleetfoot to help you chase down enemies and secure kills. This is especially important if you are building his ultimate as your primary win condition, which we have found consistent success with.

If you are on a team with virtually no crowd control, you may want to build more into your 3-ability and go full trapper Warden. Conversely, if your team has plenty of CC, you can go fully into his Alchemical Flask or his ultimate. This is one of the few heroes where your scaling can greatly change his role in the game, so be willing to deviate from your build to best suit the team’s needs.
