Fans and content creators of College Football 27 are taking to social media today with the hashtag #CFBPlayDontPay after EA added microtransactions in two of the game’s offline modes, Road to Glory and Dynasty. Here are all of the details.
EA developers have added the ability to pay to level up your coach in College Football 27 Dynasty mode, while removing the ability from previous games to increase coach XP speed. A similar move was done in Road to Glory. This is the first time in the franchise’s long history that microtransactions have been available in these two modes, which are most often played offline.

This was first posted by longtime College Football content creator, Bordeaux, who started the use of the #CFBPlayDontPay hashtag and revealed that the cost of a max XP coach in Dynasty would be $99.99 worth of microtransactions.
Many from around the community have spoken up against this, as it was claimed to have been added after many content creators were flown out to Chicago to see the game ahead of its release. The game’s full release is set for June 9, while Early Access is live now.
