One of the most annoying roadblocks in College Football 26 Dynasty mode is when you are locked out of a player due to having a low grade on the Playing Style dealbreaker. Here’s a quick explanation on how it works and why you shouldn’t give up on those recruits so quickly.

Guide to Playing Style Dealbreaker in College Football 26

You can find the exact details of why Playing Style has your recruits are suddenly disinterested or why your current players are looking to transfer in the Recruiting tab in College Football 26 Dynasty mode. To do so, follow these quick steps:

1. Load your Dynasty file
2. Go to your Recruiting Board
3. Tab over to My School using RB/LB (on Xbox)
4. Find the Playing Style tile and use RT (on Xbox) to cycle through position types, including specific archetypes within each position
5. This will show you your team’s ranking for that specific archetype on the right-hand side of your screen, giving you a grade based on how you stack up

This will show you exactly why your players may be looking to transfer or why recruits have locked you out of recruiting them any further. But, you can easily remedy this in your gameplay, adjusting to get your team grade up and, hopefully, improve your Playing Style team grade.
