Players will be able to choose one of four options for their starting player’s star rating in College Football 26:

  • Elite 5-star
  • Blue Chip 4-star
  • Contributor 3-star
  • Underdog 2-star

The choice you make will determine how strong your player is right out of high school. According to devs, “Elite 5-star prospects start with one gold and one silver ability. Blue Chip 4-star prospects begin with one silver ability. Contributor and Underdog players won’t start with any abilities — they’ll have to earn them by proving they belong.”

Players can choose this star rating on any one of the five available positions in RTG, which got a lot of attention in CFB 26 from the looks of it.
