EA Sports releases a trailer for College Football 26 and some other details for the game on Thursday. One of the bigger questions for fans heading into this year’s edition of the game was: Will College Football 26 have dynasty cross play? College Football 26 confirmed the addition of online cross-play dynasty mode.
In the EA Sports post called “Welcome to College Football 26”, it was confirmed that dynasty cross-play will be in the game. From their post: “College Football 26 Online Dynasty now supports Cross-Play across Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. You will now be able to run a 32 person Online Dynasty with friends regardless of platform. Within the Members tab, you’ll be able to see each user’s system. To use cross-play, you’ll need an internet connection, the latest game updates, a valid EA Account, and a platform account on your chosen platform. Cross-play is enabled by default in Online Dynasties but can be turned off at any time by the Commissioner in League Settings. For more info, check out the [Cross-Play FAQ for full details].”
For the first time in an EA Sports College Football video game, cross-play for dynasty mode has been enabled. So gamers who play on PS5 will be able to play against ones who play on Xbox Series X/S and vice versa. The online dynasty will also allow up to 32 players, after last year’s game had a max of 12 players.
Commissioners who don’t wish to have cross-play in their dynasties can toggle it off in the league settings.
