Civilization has long been a franchise that players have enjoyed from their computers, but with the new Civ 7 Arcade Edition, that may be no more. Here’s more on what to expect from the new edition, how to play it, and when it comes out.
According to developers, Civilization 7: Arcade Edition will release on February 5, 2026. This was announced alongside a trailer on X, showing off more mobile-friendly gameplay.
Civ 7’s new Arcade Edition has been built in partnership with Apple, meaning that players will be able to play the new game on Mac, iPhone, & iPad. This is now availble on the Apple App Store, and will be downloadable when the game releases in early February.
Once we know more information about expected features or changes that the Arcade Edition will make to the base game, we will provide updates.
