Chains of Domination Announced as Latest World of Warcraft Expansion

At the 2021 BlizzCon, the latest expansion for Shadowlands was announced. Titled “Chains of Domination”, the newest WoW expansion continues the story of Shadowlands. The expansion was the first announcement to kick off BlizzCon, and certainly an exciting one for many fans of Shadowlands. Chains of Domination will be available later this year for players to purchase.

Fans of World of Warcraft will be shocked to see the events transpire in just the opening cutscene alone. Following the story of Shadowlands, players will continue to expand upon the world. Sylvanas and company are up to no good, and players will need to find a way to help keep the dead, well dead.

Without a physical release date, it is unclear when players will get their hands on the latest expansion. The World of Warcraft team simply mentioned it would come out later in 2021. As the year progresses, there will be more updates on the expansion’s release date, and when players can finally get started on the Chains of Domination grind.

As with all expansions, players can look forward to new quests and new collectibles.Though is is not a larger expansion like those in the past, the latest addition to the World of Warcraft series is certain to bring plenty of hours of content for players to explore. Get the guild ready, as Chains of Domination awaits later in 2021.
