Borderlands 4 Hot Slugger Location And Perks

It’s no surprise that Borderlands 4 has numerous bosses that players will encounter in the new open world of Kairos. One of the bosses that players are farming is the Callous Harbinger of Annihilating Death. What exactly are gamers trying to earn by redoing this boss battle so often? Well, it’s to receive the Legendary weapon Hot Slugger. Never heard of this weapon before? Well, here’s everything to know about Borderlands 4 Hot Slugger, including its location and stats.

Hot Slugger Borderlands 4

The boss can be located in Terminus Range, Heart of the Mountain, and “Craven’s Nook” Order Bunker. More specifically, the Ruined Swamplands and the Abandoned Auger Mine. Players who haven’t completed the main story may notice this last location isn’t readily available. Once players finish the main campaign, they will unlock the Bones of Sanctuary area, which is the location of Craven’s Nook. At the bunker, players will have to clear the area of common enemies. Once cleared out, the Callous Harbinger of Annihilating Death will appear. Once they are defeated, the boss will drop the legendary shotgun Hot Slugger.

Hot Slugger is a Jakobs-manufactured shotgun that comes with the skill Blazing Barrel. On a kill, players will deal +30% Damage for 10 seconds for a maximum of 3 stacks. Additionally, with the Shotgun being a Jakobs brand, critical hits ricochet, hitting nearby enemies.
