Build Priorities & Strategy

This build begins with tankiness and survivability with your first two Powers, then scales into damage in the late game, where you should be able to find a lot more value with your hammer swings. Maximizing your Max Life will help nearly all aspects of this build to scale effectively and keep you alive longer.

As such, prioritize any Survival Items you can, especially in early rounds, then look to pivot into Weapon Damage if you need more output in the later stages. There is flexibility here; however, if you feel like your DPS can handle the damage output, you can always get even tankier!

Look to initiate fights, punish overextensions, and continue to be aggressive and use your superior survivability with this build. Reinhardt mains should love this one.

Pros:

• Incredible sustain and survivability
• Shield counters most higher-tiered Heroes
• Scales into solid brawling damage in the late game

Cons:

• Not much DPS to offer at long range, you need to be in close
• Relies on teammates getting value from your shield
• Not a lot of mobility for escapes
