Core Items

  • Meicicle: 4,000
  • Icy Veins: 10,000
  • Champions Kit: 13,500 (once you get Permafrost especially)
  • Cybervenom: 10,500

Item focus

  1. Ability
  2. Survival
  3. Weapon

Build Priorities & Strategy

In this build, things really get online when you reach Round 3 and can combine Coulder and Cryclone Powers to give your Cryo-Freeze iceball an AOE Blizzard. This has you turning into a literal wrecking ball and crushing the midgame.

Your weakness comes in other parts of the game, where you need to be more careful. In the earlier rounds, you should focus on Survival Items and act as a second Tank, of sorts. Then, you transition to a hybrid build in the middle rounds, only to go full Ability Power in the late game with Permafrost.

Create space for your team, be careful when you come out of your iceball, and look to fight in close with this extremely fun-to-play Mei build in OW 2 Stadium!

Build Pros & Cons

Pros:

  • Great AOE and knockback
  • Good mobility and survivability
  • Good in brawl, which is arguably the most common strategy in Stadium
  • Incredible in midgame

Cons:

  • Not much to do once you are out of your Cryo-Freeze
  • Weak at range
  • Weaker in early rounds and can struggle to scale
