The new Overwatch 2 Stadium mode has opened up a whole new world for long-time fans of the 5v5 hero shooter, including the potential for endless build creation. For a hero like D.Va, you can spec into multiple aspects of her kit and find value, but we have found success blending the two suggested builds. This mix gives you strong survivability with Defense Matrix upgrades and a solid offensive option with Micro Missiles.
In this build, you are focused on being as tanky and surviving as long as you can in the early rounds. This will help you to get as solid a financial lead as possible, which helps to scale into the late game. So, in early rounds, key in on survivability items when possible and play as a frontliner.
In the middle rounds, shift focus slightly to Ability items to start making those defensive missiles from Countermeasures hit even harder. Other things like Cooldown Reduction can help you to keep rockets firing and Matrix up, and can help you to more easily burst down targets on dives.
Late game is all about getting your Ability damage up and bursting down enemies faster than they can you. Having Defense Matrix in your back pocket is key here, as enemy DPS will be dealing incredible damage.
