Harlowe The Gravitar is a class in Borderlands 4 that utilizes Maliwan technology during battle. Whether it’s with her flux generator, HALO Accelerator, or her CHROMA Accelerator, Harlowe specializes in covering the most ground on the battlefield through elemental and skill damage. In past Borderlands titles, this type of role is usually paired with the Siren class; however, this upbeat scientist is taking up that mantle, while this year’s Siren Vex utilizes companions instead. With 3 different Action skills, each with its own class, gamers might be overwhelmed with how they would like to level up Harlowe. While being capable in both offense and defense, here is the best Harlowe build in Borderlands 4
Vault Hunter Trait: Whenever Harlowe uses her action skill on enemies, those enemies become entangled. This means that enemies share a portion of gun damage and skill damage with all other entangled enemies.

Using her CHROMA Accelerator, Harlowe fires an unstable energy pocket that passes through enemies while dealing cryo damage. Pressing the action skill will explode the unstable energy pocket and deal heavy radiation damage in a large area.
Capstone Abilities
When looking at the Creative Burst skill tree, it’s a no-brainer that this tree’s main focus is heavily on radiation and status effect damage. To fully capitalize on the damage that this tree offers, it’s best recommended that when upgrading Harlowe gamers invest their skill points into the augment Neuron Capture. With this augment, all of the damage from Harlowe’s unstable energy pocket dealt to enemies is stored. When it explodes, a portion of that stored damage is transferred to Harlowe’s Gun. This allows her to deal additional radiation damage. While it is beneficial to use a radiation weapon, all of Harlowe’s gun damage will produce heavy amounts of radiation damage to enemies. Paired with a quality SMG, just imagine shooting tiny nukes at enemies.
While it’s up to gamers to decide how they would like to allocate Harlowe’s skill points, here is a recommended list of which augments and passives to fully invest in.
Harlowe uses her HALO Accelerator to place an enemy in stasis for a duration. If any enemies are immune to the stasis, they will take damage instead. Using the ability again will cause the enemy in stasis to be slammed into the ground, creating a small explosion.
Capstone Abilities
Although it’s not as flashy or as useful as Creative Bursts and Cosmic Brilliance, Seize The Day is very similar to Maya’s action skill in Borderlands 2. It’s best to pair this ability with a cryo weapon to maximize its full potential. This, paired with her entanglement vault hunter ability, allows Harlowe to literally freeze the competition. Peer Review, as a selected augment, gives decreased action skill duration rate and increased action skill cooldown rate for a duration. Cold as Ice.

Harlowe throws her flux generator in front of her, and in turn, it projects an energy field. The energy field deals cryo damage over time, entangling enemies. Any allies who are caught inside the energy field won’t be damaged but instead will gain overshield. If players use the ability again, they can pick up the flux generator and toss it again.
Capstone Ability
When taking a look through the Cosmic Brilliance skill tree, players will notice that this tree is more meant for cooperative play than single player. This build focuses heavily on increasing Harlowe’s Gun Damage to entangled enemies while at the same time boosting her allies as a quality support role.
