Coming up with the Best Backyard Baseball 2001 Team is not as easy as it was in the 1997 version. This is due to the fact that there are professional MLB players in the game this time. Because of this, you are getting bonus content. Below will be three different teams. One with just the MLB players, one with just the Backyard kids and a third that is a combination of both. Each will be listed based on where they would bat in the order and what position they would play. You could move some of these players around in the order or positionally but this is where we would play them.
This was a very tough list and one that had to take out Ken Griffey Jr., Barry Bonds and Frank Thomas due to their decision not to be in the game. Had they been in the game, Ken Griffey Jr. would have been on this team.
