It’s been 3 months since the launch of Baulder’s Gate 3. It has also been 3 months since Xbox users were told that they wouldn’t be able to play the title, unlike Playstation and PC users who are still playing to this day. As of recent there has been an alleged Baldurs Gate 3 Xbox release date circulating the internet due to an anonymous source.

Larian Studios’ CEO Swen Vincke has already stated that the Xbox version of BG3 is still scheduled to be released this year and that it’s being actively playtested. According to Exputer a gaming-focused news and media website, they have an inside source that claims that Baldur’s Gate 3 is currently expected to launch for Xbox Series X and S on December 6. Larian Studios themselves have not confirmed this claim so it should be considered only as a rumor.
In Baldur’s Gate 3, the main character along with their companions are all infected with a parasite turning them into mind flayers, which are psychic, alien tyrants. The player’s quest to remove the parasite begins after escaping their alien captors and crashing on a beach. Luckily for players, they do not have to play the other Baldurs’s Gate titles to understand what is happening in Baldur’s Gate 3.
