Baldur’s Gate 3 has been out for PlayStation 5 and PC for a few weeks now. Xbox Series X|S players just have to hold out a little bit longer for their release date. There is already a good chunk of players who’ve already beaten the game. With gamers itching for more content to come to the game, is there DLC for Baldur’s Gate 3?

There currently isn’t any DLC released for Baldur’s Gate 3, but fans shouldn’t be surprised if any gets announced for the title. The team over at Larian Studios has been on top of BG3 making sure that it provides the best gaming experience for players. Baldur’s Gate 3 has received numerous amounts of hotfixes and patches. Not only did it fix bugs that were present in the game, but it added new content. The Xbox Series X|S version is still in development at the moment. That might be where the main focus for the team is currently. There is no official statement saying this though. All players can do is wait for an official statement from Larian Studios.
This news may be considered a positive for some people. Per a statement from Larian Studios, “No, there are no in-game purchases in our game. We believe in providing a complete and immersive gaming experience without the need for additional purchases. Enjoy the game to its fullest without any additional costs or microtransactions.” So no, there won’t be any microtransactions present within Baldur’s Gate 3.
Players can in fact look forward to creating their very own adventuring group as Baldur’s Gate 3 does in fact have an online coop option. A max of four party members can come together and enjoy the experience together. Each member will be able to control one character.
