With Larian Studios’ latest Patch 3 for the title, players have been given a Magic Mirror. The Magic Mirror allows players to update their appearance by letting them change their look. The only things that can’t be changed are their race, origin, and subrace. However, some might run into some trouble with getting it to work. Here’s a fix if the Magic Mirror is not working in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Magic Mirror Doesn’t Work With Mods
The biggest reason behind the Magic Mirror not working is that mods are enabled in the game. Mods aren’t officially supported in Bladur’s Gate 3, so any new feature that gets added may not work. If you want the mirror to work, make sure all mods are disabled. Granted with this probably being a hassle, a workaround is to find a mod that lets you change your appearance similar to the mirror. Turning off mods should fix the Magic Mirror In Baldur’s Gate 3.
Patch 3 Has More Bugs Than Usual
Patch 3 for Baldur’s Gate 3 has more bugs present than usual updates. There could be a possibility that the mirror isn’t working primarily for that reason. Re-verifying your files is the next step to take if the mirror still doesn’t work. If that’s not it, the best course of action is to wait for action on Larian Studio’s end.
Does Baldur’s Gate 3 Support Cross-Progression?
Regardless of what platform players decide to start their adventure on, Baldur’s Gate 3 cross-progression is supported. This means that progress and save date will transfer between systems. The only dilemma that can be found with this is for PC players. If playing a campaign with mods, they won’t transfer over to the console version of BG3 as they’re not supported. Maybe in the future, it will be planned to be a feature.
