Below is a look at the Backyard Baseball 1997 Best Hitter Tier List. These rankings are mostly based on the Secret Stats which we will have available to click on the link in this sentence. There are some decisions that had to be made as well based on personal experience.

Please note that Amir Khan, the Weber Sisters, Maria Luna, Marky Dubois and Sally Doubs all have major boosts in certain situations. You can see those here.

Again, some of this is subjective as there are some awful swings and players like the Kawaguchi’s are remembered more fondly than what is show here. Vicki specifically got a major buff in the 2001 and 2003 games.

Also players like Amir Khan and the Webber Sisters in particular become some of the best players in the game when put together with their siblings. This dramatically alters these rankings. Truthfully even Maria Luna may deserve to be in S-tier.
