Arc Raiders Adds 3-Strike Anti-Cheat System in Major Update

Arc Raiders streamers have increasingly complained about the game’s cheating problem, urging developers to make a change. And now, it appears they have, as the game’s anti-cheat was updated as a part of the most recent Major Update.

Arc Raiders Anti-Cheat Policy Changed in Update

Developers have officially made a much-requested change to Arc Raiders’ anti-cheat policy, as more and more players complain about the prevalence of cheaters. Now, it’s a three-strike-you’re-out policy. You can find this in the full patch notes for the January 27 Major Update.

“A three strikes progressive ban system is in the process of being implemented. Bans will progress from 30 days, to 60 and finally a permaban for repeat offenders.”

We aren’t sure if additional measures have been added to catch cheaters, however, we imagine this is an issue developers will want to tackle as quickly as possible. We will continue to provide updates.
