It looks like Season 16 for Apex Legends may be a major one. There will be a new gun for the first time in quite a while, team deathmatch is finally getting added and there will be no new legend. The first new gun will be a new Assault Rifle with energy ammo. This is a pretty significant addition. Here is what is known about the New Apex Legends Gun, the Nemesis.

The last new addition to the gun department was the Car. That was all the way back in November 2021. For the past year and a bit, fans have been begging for something new. It seems like the devs have heard them and with the Assault Rifle changes that were coming with Season 16, they felt that a new gun was needed. In comes the Nemesis.

As fans will be able to see, it certainly looks, sounds and probably feels like an assault rifle. With Lifeline using it, it looks like she thinks it is pretty good. Interestingly, this is all that is known so far. The specs and details of how much ammo it holds and how much damage it does is still unknown. That being said, it will likely be the first thing players are trying out when the new season launches here soon.
Apex Legends developers have heard fans and are putting in the effort to bring fun and interesting new content. It will be worth watching whether they keep up with it or now and how the lack of a new legend may affect the opinions of some fans.
