How Do Apex Legends Evac Towers Work?

One of the newest items coming into Apex Season 17 is Evac Towers. They’re handy in a gateway situation but hope exactly do the Apex Legends Evac Towers work?

New Item

New to Apex Arsenal will be Evac Towers. This new survival item will send a rocket skyward exploding into a balloon. An anchor will then brings the zipline to ground level allowing players to ride up and initiate a skydive, redeploying to a new location. The Evac Tower has a limited duration and will slowly take damage over time.

Firing Range

The firing range will also be undergoing a rework to better help gamers who wish to brush up on their skills and familiarize themselves with the legends. The overall space of the range has been expanded to give more room for practice. All weapons Weapons & Loot have received a rework to better allow players to find what they’re looking for quickly and efficiently and simulated death boxes have also been added. Additionally, there has been an agility course, Dual Pit and Training Grounds added.

Weapon Nerfs And Buffs

L-Star EMG

• Added Disruptor Rounds: 60% damage increase against shields
• Base Damage Reduced to 16 from 17
• Projectiles now have passthrough: 60% of damage retained
• Projectile growth increased
• Improved recoil pattern
• Removed barrel
• Ammo Stockpile: 324
• Reduced VFX brightness when hitting unarmored targets

R-99 SMG

• Removed 1 bullet from the base and all magazines

  • No Magazine reduced to 19 from 20
  • White Magazine reduced to 21 from 22
  • Blue Magazine reduced to 24 from 25
  • Purple & Gold magazine reduced to 27 from 28

30-30 Repeater

• Projectile size increased when fully charged

Triple Take

• Projectile size increased
• Improved hip-fire spread
• Tightened bullet pattern when fully choked
• Ammo per shot reduced to 1 from 3
• Magazines sizes adjusted to match the new ammo costs

  • Purple Mag: Increased to 10 shots from 9

Charge Rifle

• Reduced shots per magazine to 3 from 4
• Reduced spawn rate
