Season 14 is fast approaching and with it many exciting additions to the game including map changes for Kings Canyon. Plenty of hints point to one of the all-time most locations returning. Apex Legends Skull Town is coming back as part of big changes in the new season.

First, players spotted a hint in the new Lifeline’s Clinic POI. A magazine said, “salvage operation complete, say hello to King’s Canyon new relic.” Next, a large skull was clearly visible at the beginning of the Gaiden Event trailer. Finally, Respawn’s announcement for Season 14: Hunted teased that something “will rise from the ashes of the past.” With all of these clues added up, Skull Town will be back for Season 14.
As Apex likes to do with each season, the maps will get tweaks in certain areas. Skull Town was a favorite of many players. Not only to drop but even the fights there were always fun and interesting. What many players will be wondering is how it will have changed as it is unlikely that it is the exact same as before.

Not only will the famed POI return, but leaks from this Reddit post shows other possible changes to the map. The center of the map is getting an overhaul to open up the area and change rotations. Notably, #3 the Hillside Outpost will be completely removed making the whole spot barren. The changes are meant to reduce third parties, but its effects are yet to be seen.
Players can drop into Skull Town when Season 14 starts on August 9th.
