Season 16 was the first one to not have any new Legends added. This was a bit surprising for a lot of fans but the explanation made sense. The addition and changes to all the classes was quite a big change to the game. Some people have loved it and others, not so much. Regardless this is the new system Apex Legends will be using for now.

When looking forward at Season 17 there will be a new Legend added. At least that seems to be the case after the wording of not having one added in Season 16. A lot of people believe that the next Legend will be Ballistic. This is due to the Apex Legends Ballistic Leaks that have been going around the internet. If he is added and his abilities are what they have been leaked to be then his addition could be very interesting.

Looking forward to the Apex Legends Season 17 Release Date, it will be coming on May 16, 2023. This is when Season 16 will end according to the Battlepass which is generally a telltale sign of when to expect the next season.
