Starting this upcoming Valentines Day Apex Legends will be going through one of its biggest updates yet. From Legend reworks to new gun balances the Apex Legends Revelry Patch Notes cover it all. Here’s everything gamers should know before the new season launches.
New Modes
Team Deathmatch will be making its debut in Apex Legends Revelry. It will be a standard 6v6 shootout, best of two. The first team to score 30 kills wins the round.
For gamers who enjoy Apex’s limited timed mode, LTMS will be having its own game mode queue. The LTMS making a return will be Control, Team Deathmatch, and Gun Run.
Legend Reworks
In the new season, all of the Legends will have new been reorganized into special classes each coming with its own perks. Here are the following legends and their new categories:
Assault: Ash, Fuse, Mad Maggie, Bangalore, and Revenant
As mentioned each of the characters now have special perks that are determined by their new designated role assignments:
Assault– More Ammo/Stack, and gains access to red bins.
Skirmisher– Reveals care packages
Recon– Can access enemy locations via Survey Beacons
Controller– Find out the location of the next circle via Ring Consoles
Support– Revive Banners can now be created and blue bins can be accessed.
New Gun Approaches
A new energy-class assault rifle called The Nemesis is dropping into the arena. This new weapon is a four-round burst weapon with a burst delay that decreases the time between bursts. The weapon also simulates a fully automatic weapon.
The Training Arc
Dummies in the firing range can now strafe left and right! Dummies’ speed can now be toggled including their shield level.
Dynamic stats at the range appear any time you deal damage, letting you track your performance.
Hit indicators help you keep track of spray patterns.
Unlimited ammo is now provided at the firing range.
The Orientation Match system, lets new players learn the core mechanics of Apex Legends.

Seer
Heartbeat Sensor
Audio from Seer’s passive is now more audible to enemy players
Activation is now delayed to match raise animation of weapon or unarmed
The lock-On indication will now only show on the heartbeat cadence of the target
Focus of Attention
No longer shows full body scan on scanned targets
Ultimate
No longer reveals on initiation
Duration reduced from 30 seconds to 25 seconds
Cooldown increased from 120 seconds to 180 seconds
Bloodhound
Tracker
Ethereal White Ravens will now occasionally spawn near Bloodhound when no enemies are around.
White Ravens can be interacted with or scanned to trigger them to fly toward the nearest enemy player
The White Raven will leave a misty trail behind for Bloodhound to follow and will share this direction with their team on the map.
Using a White Raven will recover 25% of the Tactical / Ultimate charge
Scanning a White Raven will fully refund the Tactical Charge
Eye of the Allfather
Reduced full body scan time from 3 seconds to 1 second
The diamond target on the scanned enemy is unchanged
Ultimate
No longer recharges or speeds up the cooldown rate of Bloodhound’s Tactical
Will launch a White Raven that flies towards the nearest enemy
Killing an enemy while in Beast of the Hunt will also trigger a White Raven
Mirage
Now you see me…
Mirage and his ally now remain cloaked after a revive for 3 seconds
Weapons remain stowed while cloaked
Drawing your weapon will remove the cloaking effect early
Mirage Clones
Bamboozles are now only triggered by bullet fire and melee
Enemies who are bamboozled now receive notifications on their screen
Bamboozle icon marker now tracks the Bamboozled player’s movement
Bamboozle icon marker duration increased from 2.5 seconds to 3.5 seconds
Pathfinder
Insider Knowledge
Pathfinder’s passive benefits are no longer gained by scanning Survey Beacons
Pathfinder’s passive benefits (Ultimate charge and 10 seconds Ultimate Cooldown reduction) are now gained by revealing Care Packages with the Skirmisher ability
Ultimate
Max Range increased by 60%.
Max Speed increased by 66%.
Acceleration and exit speed adjustments.
Targeting improvements, including updated visual and audio cues.
Can no longer place the end station on OOB zones.
Wraith
Ultimate
Max Portal Distance has been doubled. 76m to 152m
Portal Duration reduced from 60 seconds to 45 seconds
Wraith now increases speed over time when creating longer portals
Horizon
Gravity Lift
Increased weapon spread in Gravity Lift
The increased vertical speed of Gravity Lift by 10%
Lifeline
Combat Revive
Reduced the slow penalty on Lifeline when initiating a revive
Ultimate
Decreased the drop animation speed of Care Package from 14 seconds to 8 seconds
Increased the deployment range of the Care Package
