Toadofsky in Super Mario RPG is a famous composer who’s struggling to compose a new song due to the composer’s block. He relies on the help of Mario and the party to cure his composer’s block and create melodies. Upon creating melodies, Toadofsky will grant players various rewards. In all of Toadofsky’s melodies, the composer will be using the major scale. From top to bottom, those notes are:
Melody Bay Song #1: Frog Sage Suite No. 18 (Alto Card)
Fins Toadofsky for the first time and play So La Mi Re Do Re Do Re To solve the puzzle right there is a poster behind the Toad Sage or players can simply speak to the Tadpole before solving the puzzle. Upon completion, players will be rewarded with the Alto Card. With it, the price of Tadpole Cola is reduced in the Juice Bar, and it unlocks Elixirs for purchase.
Melody Bay Song #2: Moleville Miners’ Song (Tenor Card)
After clearing the Moleville and having Peach join the party play Mi Do So Do Re La Ti Do. When played players will receive the Tenor Card. With this special card, Tadpola Colas and Elixirs become cheaper, and Finless Colas will be unlocked for purchase.
Melody Bay Song #3: Monstro Town Star Song (Soprano Card)
The final song for Toadofsky can be attempted after completing Monstro Town. Play La Ti Do Re So Do Re Mi for the Soprano Card. With this card, Tadpola Colas, Elixirs, and Finless Colas become cheaper, and Croaka Colas will be unlocked for purchase. Once all three melodies have been completed players can freely create their own musical masterpieces.
