The Minnesota Timberwolves have traded Dario Saric and the No. 11 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft to the Phoenix Suns for the No. 6 overall pick. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski was the first to report the trade.
Minnesota reportedly tried to trade up for picks No. 4 and No. 5 as well, but settled for the sixth overall pick. This could tip their hand that they want a point guard, as both Coby White and Darius Garland are projected to be selected in this range.
Phoenix has already shed cap space by trading T.J. Warren to the Pacers and now have acquired Dario Saric as a stretch-four.
