The Sacramento Kings have agreed to a deal with veteran point guard Cory Joseph according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports. Joseph has accepted a three-year, $37 million deal.
Joseph is a 27-year-old point guard who has spent his eight-year career with the Spurs, Raptors and Pacers. Last season with Indiana, Joseph averaged 6.5 points and 3.9 assists per game.
Sacramento can now utilize Joseph as a backup point guard to De’Aaron Fox. Joseph has experience in the playoffs and can help the young team if they get that far next season.
